I want to write down the first moment I met you, the one who made my heart flutter.

It happened by chance, as if fate had arranged it. When our hands touched for the first time, a warm, gentle feeling slipped into my soul. I cannot forget that accidental touch; it was like a strong wave crashing on the shore, waking feelings that had quietly been there for so long. We looked into each other's eyes without meaning to, and in that moment I felt a strange familiarity. As if we had known each other for a very long time, though it was only our first meeting. Your eyes held warmth and sincerity, and I could not look away.

Everything around seemed to dissolve, leaving only a romantic, dreamy air. We stood there looking at the paintings, my heart racing, as if the whole world held only you and me. Confused yet sweet, shy yet full of hope, all of it made a new happiness just beginning, one I had never known.

My love, I did something I will probably keep to myself forever. When you dozed off on the sofa, without thinking I came close and gently placed a kiss on your lips. It was a light kiss, yet it made my heart beat wildly, as if the whole world had stopped in that moment.

As our lips touched, every feeling in me seemed to burst, a mix of overflowing happiness and fear. Happy because I had dared to show my truest feelings, but afraid because I had broken my own rule. You may never know that was our first kiss. But for me, that kiss, however light, became a flame burning inside. It woke deep feelings I only wanted to keep for the two of us. From that moment, each time I think of you, my heart fills again, as if I had found something precious, a sweet secret only I know.

Today is a special day. Today I found the courage to say the three words I had kept to myself for so long: "I love you". Simple words, yet holding so much feeling, everything I had carried inside for a long time. My heart seemed to stop for a moment as I said them.

When you looked into my eyes and answered, "I love you too", everything in me burst open, wave after wave of love rising, impossible to hold back. I felt as if I were floating in happiness, every worry and fear gone. I cannot fully describe the happiness in me right now. I only know that I am truly lucky and happy, because you love me too.

Life moves fast, in a rush, and without meaning to we missed an important anniversary because of work. The two of us at opposite ends of the country, so far apart. You called me on FaceTime, and there you were on the screen, a cup of hot noodles and that dear smile. Seeing you, hearing your warm voice, every worry in me seemed to dissolve.

I felt a little hurt that our anniversary went this way, but what I have is a sincere love. Thousands of kilometres apart, our hearts stay close. Let the world spin, let the chaos turn; as long as I have you, I can face all of it. In the storm of this life, with you beside me, I am no longer afraid of anything.

This Valentine's, we promised to make each other a gift by hand. You, the man who always refused to sit still long enough to make something with care, had to do the opposite this time. To my surprise, your hands braided a leather bracelet, every stitch, every thread careful and attentive. You sent a handwritten letter with it too, sweet words written for me.

That was the first time I realised how beautiful your handwriting is. The letter moved gently through every feeling and made me understand how special I truly am to you. The sky of love and sincerity you gave me, I will cherish and keep forever.

We had known each other a long time, yet this was perhaps the first time we both set aside the clutter of work to travel, to truly have a space of our own, just the two of us. Walking with you on white sand, the waves murmuring in my ears, the sunset ahead like a painted dream. You kept holding my hand tight, the two of us strolling along the beach, slowly, and you said: "let's always be like this".

As the world around us blurred, there was only you in me, only you in every breath, every heartbeat. We did not need to say much, because every feeling was already held in a glance, in a smile, in a silence that understood.

It turned out we still had our differences, different ways of seeing things. Small disagreements slowly led to endless arguments, and then, in a moment of anger, I told you it was over, words spoken in haste that I would come to regret.

A week passed in a silence so still it was suffocating. Not one message, not one call, only my longing for you piling up day by day until I could hardly breathe. In the empty space of your absence, every breath I let out was heavy with missing you.

When you appeared in front of my house, you said: "I'm sorry, it was my fault." I knew you had done nothing wrong; it was only my childishness. Your embrace was so warm I could not hold back my tears. Being apart made me realise how much I loved you.

I will probably never forget the nervous, shy look in your eyes the first time you came home to meet my family. I smiled, not at your awkwardness, but because in those eyes I saw a man trying his very best for the one he loves. You tried to make conversation, tried to show who you were.

Each of your stories, each of your laughs made the room feel closer, warmer. In that moment I suddenly thought of a future with you, a small family of our own, where the laughter never stops. I felt that beside you, everything would always be peaceful and happy.
